Scott’s Custom Classics owner and founder, Jason Scott, is a lifelong classic car enthusiast dating back to his first car which he bought at the age of seventeen, a 1972 Mustang Coupe. Several Mustangs and over twenty years later Scott’s Custom Classics was opened in 2012.

Jason’s passion for cars carried over to his professional life as well. After graduating high school he entered into an apprenticeship program sponsored by Ford Canada. Following in the footsteps of Lee Iaccoca and Carroll Shelby, he eventually made his way over to Chrysler where he worked as an apprentice, Licensed Technician, Shop Foreman, Service Manager and Fixed Operations Manager for almost twenty years.

In early 1994 Jason earned his Ontario Class “A” Automotive Technicians’ License with Inter-Provincial standard, the highest level available in Ontario. Over his career he specialized in many aspects of automotive repair, including electrical, drivability diagnosis (the diagnosis and repair of performance related issues including “Check Engine” light related issues), automatic transmissions, and air conditioning. Jason was also one of the first technicians in Ontario qualified for Ontario’s Drive Clean testing and a certified repair technician. He has also completed over 100 additional training programs to further his knowledge.

Over the years Jason Scott has also developed his skills in body sheet metal repair, fabrication and paint application.
